About Us
The Learning to Live Meaningfully Foundation serves as beacon of hope, providing assistance to vulnerable families. By addressing educational, social and environmental concerns, our non-profit organization plays a vital role in creating a more equitable and sustainable future for all. Established for the past 30+ years, by founders Jagdeo and Judy Gopee, we operate on the principle that education, social welfare and environmental stewardship are interconnected pillars of sustainable development. Located at Central Trinidad, we were founded in order to serve the communities of Trinidad and Tobago. We provide support for persons across the nation regardless of race, national or ethnic origin, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, age or mental and physical capabilities. Our work requires us to be responsible, conscious of the circumstances of other people's lives, helping them on the basis of need and without discrimination.
To date our organization has impacted thousands nationwide via our ongoing Educational Initiatives, Food Assistance Programs, Feeding of the Homeless, Healthcare Services, Tree Planting Campaigns as well as Promotion of Environmental Awareness. By supporting families in need and actively contributing to education, healthcare, environmental conservation and agricultural efforts, we are paving the way for a more equitable, resilient, and sustainable society. Our good works continues to be supported by the helpful donations of well-wishers of this foundation as well as collaborations with other local, regional and international charitable humanitarians.
